Rogier van Nierop (1982) is autodidact amateur photographer. He tries to work according to the filmic Dogme 95-rules. This means, for example, no artificial lighting, no staging and preferably no editing of the pictures. This way, he tries to capture beauty using the most authentic methods. He mostly takes pictures of whatever amazes him.

He consciously uses an advanced compact camera instead of a reflex one because this makes it easier to capture something without spoiling the magic of the moment. He takes his pictures with a Panasonic TMC-DZ10, which has a Leica-lens.
